Stuck on the paperwork, the tools, or the next move

I'm Robin Angelé. I work alone, in English, French and German, and Italian on request. Tell me which one is yours and I'll tell you what I'd do.

The German paperwork won't explain itself

Anmeldung, health insurance, tax registration, a bank account, a contract you cannot read. Each one looks small. Together they stall everything else, and getting one wrong costs you later.

I arrived as a student, spent six years building a life in Germany, and founded two companies there. I have been through that paperwork myself. The full list of what I do there is on the Germany site.

Paying monthly for tools you do not control

A pile of subscriptions, a backup nobody has tested, files spread across several services, and a setup someone else built and then left. It works until the day it doesn't.

I help freelancers and small businesses work out what to self-host, what to leave with a provider, and what to switch off. Backups get restored, not just scheduled. The IT site has the detail.

Running the business
on your own

What I build

Alongside the consulting I build and run ReefOffice: files, CRM, invoicing, document archive and AI on a dedicated European server you control, instead of six separate subscriptions. It is in early access.

It is my own product, so take what I say about it as interested. If what you already pay for does the job, I will tell you that instead.

Before you book

Short answers, and what I would do next. If yours isn't here, ask me on WhatsApp or by email.

Who actually does the work?

I do. Robin Angelé, micro-entrepreneur. No team, no account manager, nobody inside the business I hand you off to. You talk to me from first email to last piece of advice. When something needs a lawyer or an accountant, I say so. If I am too busy, or the question is outside what I know, I say so instead of taking the booking.

How do I know which of the three I need?

Germany if you are moving there, working there, or setting a company up there. IT if your tools, files, backups or data handling are the problem. Coaching if the business itself is the problem: pricing, structure, delegation, hiring. If you sit between two of them, say so on the free call and I will tell you where you fit.

What happens on the free call, and when do I get a price?

The first call is free, lasts twenty minutes and commits you to nothing. You describe the situation, I tell you whether I can help and what it would take. No slides, no pitch. Germany packages are priced on the Germany site; for anything else you get a price before any work starts.

Can you give me legal, tax or accounting advice?

No. I am not a lawyer, an accountant or a tax adviser. What I do is read a contract with you and explain what each clause commits you to, how a process works, what the authorities expect and where the usual mistakes happen, then tell you when it is time to bring in a professional.

Does any of this have to happen in person?

Almost never with me. Most of it works by call, WhatsApp and email, in English, French or German, and Italian on request. I work from Malakoff, just outside Paris. If a step has to be done in person at a counter in Germany, I tell you that up front and prepare you for it rather than pretend it can be done from a laptop.

You have your own software product. Doesn't that skew your advice?

It could, which is exactly why I name it. ReefOffice is my own self-hosted workspace, and I build it. When it fits, I say it fits and that it is mine. When what you already pay for is fine, or a plain provider is cheaper and simpler, I say that instead. You should be able to check the reasoning either way.
